Hello there,

My name is Thomas Clowes, and I am from sunny Britain!

I am emailing specifically in regard to a domain name which you own ( ***.com ).
I am sure you will agree, and I will not put any effort into pretending otherwise that this domain is simply put, awesome !
At this moment I am acquiring high quality names such as this one, in the hope of developing them into online resources.

Given that there is a worldwide financial crisis this offer may appeal more at this current moment in time.
Maybe you are re-branding, getting offline altogether, or simply your original intentions for the domain name no longer exist...
If any of the above are applicable, I would be prepared to offer you 3000 USD for transfer of ownership rights to this domain name into my name.

I wont get ahead of myself but I'd be happy to utilize web based security measures/transaction handlers to make sure that if a deal is agreed upon, we are both safe. Rest Assured :)

I would love to hear your thoughts on the above proposition.
If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.

Many Thanks for your time,
Thomas Clowes

ROFL when will this guy stop ridiculing himself? $3,000 buys 1/3 of a medium quality LLL.com
And "sunny Britain"?
Only when the Queen orders so :D

Waiting for his next round of "I am not a lowballing spammer" apology.

If i cared about being exposed would i use my own name. I try not to email domainers but am not always successful at filtering them out. Lll.com are selling on sedo for 5 k, so a 3k offer is not as low as you suggest, although i appreciate low. My practices are legit, and legal. The email is a template with the prices modified for each email depending on what i am prepared to pay. I am trying to make money and buy good domains. Before my practices were slightly Dodgy, they no longer are. Simple as. Id be happy to answer any questions. At the end of the day no one who deals with me has a bad experience. Tom

Yes, I've been getting a few of those... At least it's not $100 offers any more.
Still nowhere close to where I would even remotely consider replying. I don't think any of them came within 25% of an opening bid I would consider worthy to even start negotiating.

Tom, spam blacklists have a tendency to multiply exponentially over time, so if your personal name ever gets caught in the loop, good luck getting it removed. I manually sent a purchase inquiry to a domain owner once, and she called me out as a spammer simply because my IP location was based in Poland at the time. A hundred cease and desist letters later, I finally cleaned most of it up. I've never blanketed niches with domain purchase inquiry requests as you seem to be doing, so my guess is it's just a matter of time before you get hit hard, regardless of good intentions.

My 2 cents...

Get lost moron. You spam the entire LLL sequence over and over again. Get a life. Last time you were crying here like a pansy apologizing and claiming you learned your lesson. Maybe you should see your name and email on Spam Haus to finally stop this practice.

And no, LLL .com's don't sell for $5k on Sedo. You're full of raisin-laden muffins.

SPAM IS SPAM.

When you send emails in mass...it's spam. It's different if he is inquiring about a domain and looking to negotiate. This is not the case...he is just sending mass emails and spamming. Would you like it if i sent 1000 emails a day regarding your domains?

I don't think so...but you know how you eliminate spam? you fight back!

I think in this case he started out at Tom.com, and ended up at As s.com :D

I know he doesn't feel like he's spamming but there are weeks I receive 5 unsollicited offers on LLL.com and recently I have even added 'not for sale' in the whois

Many of us are tired of this clown.

Nothing will stop people who auto spam the whois but i've found to reduce the amount of domainers emailing manually, use moniker. I guess most people think moniker=domainer which is usually true.

To be legit, you need to construct an OPT-IN list, Thomas. Not an opt-out that we have to contact you - or any other mass-mailing, lowballing spammer - in order to not be contacted next time you feel so inclined to place a $3k offer for an LLL .com !

1) Someone should look up all of the TomClowes "apology" threads over the years and post an update that he has resumed the spamming

2) Each person receiving the spam should post a NEGATIVE iTrader report here for each incident. A spammer shouldn't have a +46 iTrader rating, it should be a -100, and let him give his "spamming is ok" speech to anyone who tries to do business with him.
