My money is in Vegas, does that count? :)

It's been a while since I've been there, nothing to do finances.

I love gambling, but I've only been to Vegas once in my life (will try to change that soon). I usually play on online casinos like InterCasino and Sun Vegas. ;) The games I play the most are video slots, progressive blackjack, let-it-ride poker and multi-hand bonus video poker. Gotta love it ..

I'm not in Vegas, but one of my companies and its money is there...
But I don't gamble.. especially not now. But I'm working on finishing a gambling site, hopefully within a month or two. (But that's not in Vegas... but outside U.S.) :)

I tell you, I've lost a lot. .. But I'm trying not to play so much anylonger. I've won a lot too (which is the reason you keep playing, right? ;))

Long time Las Vegas resident checking in. I've lived here since 1981 and Vegas mirrors the rest of the country.
Things are very bad:
-Gaming is way down (as is LV hotel occupancy); There has been a significant decline in gambling revenue
-Massive lay-offs in the industry
-Many of the projects on the Strip are now at a standstill (or already bankrupt before they are even completed)
-Las Vegas, far and away, leads the US in foreclosures

And on & on.

I'm afraid the US Dollar is going to collapse.
Can you spell wallpaper?

I wouldn't say cheap. I just booked a weekend for my wife and I leaving tomorrow and returning Monday. Prices are still high but that is mostly from the airfare. Two nights at the Venetian for $450 is rather reasonable.

I live in Las Vegas, and I read stories all the time that our gambling revenues are down, which is to be expected. But like Rockefeller stated, hotel rooms are less than they were in the past, but still not super low. We still have a decent amount of tourists.

Also, I don't gamble, but the economy has not been the reason for that.
