My doctor said my bad cholesterol was ok, but I had low good cholesterol and it's past on from family. He also said that no diet would help it, but stop smoking would and being more active. He is giving me niaspan it's niacin B-3 time released, and one 325 mg of aspirin a day for it.
The niaspan cost $87 for 30 of them, anyway the doctor said with my age I had to get the good cholesterol up. I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem, or knows some one with it, this is the first I ever heard of this happening. Anyway my cholesterol was high before, and I changed my diet to get it down and then this happens.
