Anyone Living Off the Grid? Wind, Solar, etc.

I would like to talk to someone who is currently living off the grid.

I am interested in stand-alone hybrid wind and photovoltaic power systems (no fossil fuels).

Also, anyone using the point-of-use water heaters?

I need to better understand power storage capabilities, how to best setup them up and maintain the system, and would like to converse with someone who has firsthand experience.

Ive done a bunch of research but would really like to talk to someone who is living with a system.
