Hello,

I'm interested in buying, in the short-coming future - mydom.com and mydom.net and turn mydom into a domain registrar. I need to know how much the domains worth (each) as I don't know what price to negotiate with the seller.

Thanks.

wrong move telling these idiots your plans for a domain you don't yet own

or brilliant move if you own it and are shilling

Anyone? I'm seeing *lots* of 0$ appraisals for domains like word-word-word-letter.com but this is a good domain. No one can estimate a value?

I don't think "dom" is a good abbreviation for "Domain Name", personally. If you're looking to create a domain registrar, you might be better to use "DN" as an abbreviation ... though I'm not a big fan of those, either.
Perhaps one of the reasons why you're not getting ($$) "appraisals" here, is due to the fact that you must OWN the domain in question BEFORE seeking APPRAISALS on this site. A thought.
Take care.

Thank you, CoolHost. The reason I wanted an appraisal was because I was asked what seemed to me an overpriced figure -- but I understand and respect the rules.

Cheers. :)

You're a stand-up person, WhoWhere ... and, I'm sure, everyone on the Forum appreciates that fact. Seriously. Thanks.
Good Luck with the new site! :)

MyDom is more suitable as a fetish site. Good for stories from submissives. Might be a good name if you want to specialise in adult names though.

Well, DomainPairs -- the "saint" in me was only thinking in "dom" as in "domain" but you're right -- "domination" is also something to think about :)

Yes, exactly. Dom is clearly more a reference to S&M than domain names. Dom is an even worse abbreviation for domain names than DN is.

Between MyDom.com being a good fetish name, it probably also picks up some typos for Midol.com.

Sex doms, Midol, and domain names.... that's in interesting combination. It would sure explain a lot though.

Hmm, jimbo -- nice names except they're all registered :D
I'm just a couple of days late though. They are all recent registrations.

I don't like it MyDom.com doesn't sound professional...I'd prefer DN or Domain or Name
