Hi,

I've got three domain names from a website that I was involved in running a few years ago that I have not had the time to keep up and running.

I've had a couple of inquires into selling cycling.org and cyclery.com over the last year, which has brought my attention to the world of the domain name sales market that I never knew existed. I have no idea what these domains could/should be worth. I've had a look around the forum to get a feel for things, but I'm at a loss on coming up with a sensible figure.

The free appraisal tools I have found vary from a few dollars up to 6 figures, depending on which you believe. From what I've read on the forums, the paid appraisals are no better so don't waste your money. So I have invested my appraisal $$ in joining the forum instead, to get some help from the people that live and breath this stuff!

When I started looking into putting a price on for the people that have contacted me i realised that I could be making a few $$ off them instead of them doing nothing. I've recently parked the domains with Sedo.

It would be most appreciated if you could give me some help with putting a value on them to reply to the original enquires, and also a buynow price for Sedo.

Is Sedo OK, or would you recommend somewhere else to list them?

Thanks in advance to your replies.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Any idea on how to work out how deep the pockets should be?
Thanks
