Could anyone help me determine the value of:

DOMAINS.CN
MAIL.CN
EMAIL.CN
PORN.CN
SEX.CN
CHINA.CN

I'm thinking of purchasing these, but I have no clue what a good price would be.

I know, but people are bidding allready. :razz: I'd like to get some piece of the action. I have $2500 to spend on .CN domains, and I wanna make sure I make the dight decisions!

Even if you have the highest bid the registrar still has to "get" the domain so you will still not be guaranteed the name .

Have you ever thought of pre-registering them? It's much cheaper, $50-70 for any name you like.

That does not guarantee you a name. Registrar will try to get it for you and most of them will charge your creditcard only if they get you the name. Still it is better to read the fineprint.

I pre-registered the names as well. But my guess is numerous people have and the registrars will eventually wind up with these names. They are auctioning the names allready.

I don't think this pre-registration stuff is actually going to get you any premium names... But I tried.

Have you checked all of the names to see if there are existing pre-December 2000 .COM.CN, .NET.CN, or .ORG.CN registerations already? While good to prepare, if existing companies have "first dibs", might save you a lot of time if they exercise that right (the grandfather clause). I certainly wish I'd thought that far ahead... then it wouldn't be a question if you were to get the .CN or not.

Too long, not good in my opinion, but then again... i'm not domain guru!
