why does not anybody here make appraisals??but only they are looking..my opinion is that we are only interesting for our domains and not to help the others.so we shouldnt pay for members.we could be just guests..to look at them only..

most look at the name and if it's not worth commenting on to them, then they move on.

i looked back at your posts and you have gotten a few replies on some names.

i even replied to one of your appraisal requests a couple of weeks ago.

we all have posted names for appraisal at one time or another, and many times we/i don't get replies either.

keep posting!

maybe u didnt understand..i dont say about me..i am speaking general..appraisal its not what are we interesing..appraisal is to help someone else with his name..to tell him our opinion bad or good..we are confused with sales..sales and appraisal its not the same thing..when we put a name in this topic is only for appraisal and comments..no for if u are interested about this..

what i said, applies to you, me and in general for that section.

you will see the easy names to appraise like LLL.com's , top tier one worders, NN or LL com. net, org names etc., these get lots of comments.

but ...

some people don;t like to be the "first" one to give their opinion

some like to "jump-on" the bandwagon.

some just forget to go thru and see what's there

some get tired of seeing the endless list of crapola

some don't like to respond to those who spam that section with numerous posts

some just don't feel like saying "reg fee" all the time.

some don't know how to evaluate a domain

some don't want to give a value because they may be interested and try to get it later from you cheap.

some will give you low appraisals just for ... ( see above)

there are plenty of excuses, but i'll try an be more active there.

:)

The appraisal section is just as worthless as the appraisals themselves. You're wasting your time getting them here, there or anywhere. The value of a domain is the happy medium between buyer and seller at the time of an agreed upon price and sales transaction. I can't count the number of times I've gotten appraisals on names and the general Consensus was the usual "$xx unless developed" only to turn around and sell the name for $xxxx. Hell I've even got appraisals that I'm in the middle of closing just for kicks. The only thing those forums are really for these days is for someone to show off their new "premium" acquisition and everyone trips over themselves to estimate how much the buyer paid. Or for the average person posting their names so everyone can tell you how little it's worth. Do yourself a favor and ignore the section because all it will bring you is disappointment. If you feel your name is worth something try your best to get what you feel it's worth. Just don't let your personal feelings get in the way of making you money.
