From what I see, they now go for around $100. Only time will tell if they'll be worth more in the future.

I agree with around $100 currently... mostly due to the Z. Much higher with a high quality 3rd letter.

It has been about 8 years since the first post. Anybody can update with the recent value of LLL.biz? Thank you

It depends if you have a personal connection, or name association, people tend to pay more since other extensions in most cases are unattainable.

ie) If you saw car.biz it would be worth considerable more than xyz.biz...

I see them change hands usually between $50-$500 depending on the letters, and what they mean on a personal, or business level to the buyers.

I've seen a lot that wouldn't sell for mid-$$, and they were not the worst of the worst.
Same could be said about LLL.us.
Some extensions can actually depreciate over time.

Use to do well in biz 3 letter. Lots of $400-$1500 end user sales.

I've not had a single 3 letter sale in 3 years now. Lately though I've seen a few low $x,xxx sales of some 3 letter Biz but still very few and far in between.

Still holding a few nice ones but not expecting much....

This comment by katherine is so right on !..... yes, yes and yes to all 3 sharp observations lol.... Both .BIZ and .US have indeed depreciated over time, just watch dropped lists and auctions the last few yrs, a no-brainer... This .BIZ was touted as "the 5th extension" in terms of importance and for US domainers .US was the 6th, kinda by default .... I suppose that might still hold true somewhat (but .CO is now more important than even .INFO for many ....) I'd personally rather own a good .CO than the same term in .BIZ even for a business domain. And .BIZ was never big to begin with, there were some who had hopes for it for all business domains from that point on but they were proven wrong... so .BIZ and .US names just can't get dropped fast enough, even LLL and NNN unless they mean something or an end user is willing to pay good $

Johnn, you did great, congrats, and I wonder why any Spaniard would pick .biz for a domain unless maybe all major exts were taken, ie they also have .ES, .EU, etc ........ Stewie, I did the same as you...

As for CC.biz (true CC like Y7.biz or 6B.biz) stay away, they're WORTHLESS unless it means something. Now, for NN.biz or LL.biz then you're talking good money, I've seen LL.biz go for $X,XXX (lower end) easy, and for a NN.biz it's well into the thousands. These 2-char .biz domains were not available at first, Sedo had a huge campaign auctioning off the first batch a couple of yrs ago, they all got taken quick after btw (LL and NN)

And are you surprised lol ? Any $X,XXX .biz for a LLL is an exception, by no means a trend, I handregged a few like in 09 and even bought some cheap, ended up dropping almost all, sold some at a loss (ditto for .us)
