Hi TrafficMonsterRRR,
Thank you very much for your input. I'll try my best to acknowledge each of your statements in a coherent fashion (in an attempt to look as if I know what i'm doing?)
Yes, they were marketleap totals. I put in the URL's and received those results back.
Re your (b) "study where they are coming from ie from known search engines, topic (niche) authority sites and other worthy reference site not just GEocities hobby sites and domain FOR SALE positings."
How do I find out where they are coming from?
And re your "Alexa rating?" - I have been to the Alexa ratings link a while ago but didn't think it was worthy considering some of the names I used to own were never updated and still had previous owners names attached. So, how reliable is Alexa?
Also re your "if you own these names you can answer these questions easily" - Yes, I do own these names (you can check the whois to ensure i'm legit if you like), but as far as answering the questions 'easily' - that's not so easy for me. I'm a novice webmaster and haven't exactly mastered all the necessary skills or soaked up all the important information I need to be able to "answer easily".
I copied the results below from my stats page for today for ClicksUnited.com (not 'linksunited.com' as you wrote in your post).

As far as the history of this domain goes - I purchased it around June last year and did have a site running on it up until yesterday. I am in the process of redeveloping the site so have taken the old home page off and put a new "work in progress" design up. Prior to my purchase, I don't know what it was used for.
As for vslots.com - I am getting and fulfilling many requests to exchange links with other casino sites so that could be the reason for the search results on marketleap? (only guessing there). Here's the results from today that i've copied below:
Period Covered 2002/11/18 04:18 - 2002/11/19 03:56
Number of Computers Requesting Content 12

Now to your question about vstore. No - i've never received a cent from them and I have a number of sites running as vstores. They really look lovely, very clean page designs etc BUT with all the visitors I've had and all the product pages they've looked at, there haven't been any purchases. I have only left them running to continue to be able to see how many hits each site gets but that's the only reason they're still there.
Thank you heaps for your response to my post - have a great day!
Debbie
