Got this email today - "NOTICE DATE: July 12, 2002. Attention: VeriSign® Customer - Your domain name registration .... will expire on 12/27/02. Don't take a chance on having your domain name deactivated. Act now. Use our simple, express renewal process to protect your online presence."

What complete idiots they are. This name was transfered away from NetSol (VeriSign) March 2001 to Tucows where it resides. That's 1-1/4 yrs ago and they still seem to think it is reg'd there! Plus they seem to think 5 mos until expiration is nearby.

I have received others like this too on another names, on domains transferred away from them a long time ago. Anyone think this is done for fraudulent purposes or are they simply incompetant idiots at a poorly managed company?
