Please appraise "NativeArt.org".

I know this would be a great name for an art organization.

Plenty of new found interest in "Native" art, as it relates to the
American Indians.

Recent artifacts of Indian ancestory have been appraised at
high values on "Antiques Road Show"

Would also fit well for other countries native populace artwork.

Thanks for viewing.

at least $45-60

NativeArt is better than nativeAmericanArt and the .org suits just fine a non-commercial group.

BUt you eed to market it or self promote it.

The .org part of it limits it pretty severely. The plural would be better, but of course it's taken. They may want it to pick up a few stragglers who type their URL wrong, but then if you just registered this from the available pool instead of a drop, that's a pretty good indication that they don't want it.

Excuse the long post - but I need to say a few things......

Many people don't know the popularity of .ORG names - especially worldwide. I for one have benefited from this lately. Even the skipper himself (masta pimp greg) has been impressed with the number of nice .org names I have been acquiring - and then flipping for nice profit - often in less than 24 hours!

Granted - I have been mostly dealing with single words - and highly searched terms - etc. - but anybody who *thinks* that .org is a worthless extension - just hasn't done their research. In many countries .ORG is more popular than .NET. Some people are too narrow minded to think in such a wide perspective though - and it's a shame. Then again - in some ways I'm happy they don't - (if you know what I mean - hehe).

Being a successful domain buyer/seller is not *just* about having lots of money - using the newest drop service - or sticking to only one extension. It's also about being intelligent - open minded - creative - and having the skill & common sense to watch trends and make adjustments on the fly. It's not about having the available money to buy only premium .com names (though that helps duh!) - but rather it's about being able to make the most out of what you choose - and choosing very wisely.

Anyway........

This name is a great match for the .ORG extension. No doubt. Also just because it was *available* is a sign of nothing. It could have dropped yesterday for all you know. That being said - I see this name for 2 main purposes. 1) A PBS type (educational) site all about the subject of NativeArt. 2) An affiliate site that either sells directly - or links to other sites that sell such NativeArt.

Giving a dollar amount has become an exercise in futility lately. This name is pretty 'focused' - so some will view it as *less* valuable for that reason - while others will view it as *more* valuable (to the right buyer) for the very same reason.

I will just say that.... it's a nice name and suited well for the .ORG extension. You could easily pick up $50-$150 profit on a quick sale - or try to develop it or atleast set up a basic page with a logo and some links to other related sites - in hopes of finding an end user who was already looking for - or interested in purchasing such a name.

Good luck Bigg.
:)

WoW!

Very elaborate reply "NamePopper".

That's the most extensive response I've seen in quite some time.

Thanks very much for the detailed analysis of the name and
how it relates to the TLD.
