Hello,
I just want to express a complaint about the auction system used for the .asia domains.
I've been participating in quite a few of these auctions now and is becoming quite frustrating :sigh2:
This is not a normal auction with a starting date and an end date.
The problem is about the end of the auction.
Every time somebody bids within 24 hours from the closing of the auction, it get extended for a further 24 hours. Still missing 5 minutes? If somebody bids it get another 24 hours extension. WTF!!!!!!
That's so fu****g boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm involved in an auction and it has passed already 1 week from the originally set closing date (so it's going on already for 2 weeks), because every time after some hours, somebody bids on the auction. And I'm not talking about a premium domain.
What i don't understand is WHY THEY EXTEND IT FOR 24 hours????
I mean, ok. I (and We all) already understand that the Pool/DotAsia intention is to milk as much cash from the participants but, isn't it better to let the auction finish as established before?
As eBay teach us the bids keeps flocking in the last hour/minutes, so why keep it as a never ending auction?
Have a nice day
