If its gonna be anything like .EU...then its near future is not too bright!
.EU makes more sense than dick moby.
It's hard to tell what companies will think of dot Asia since it's not specific.
Jp extension is strong, cn is strong
What would be the target.
There isn't one language or culture in Asia.
now that the .mobi craz is starting to die down is .Asia going to be the next fad?
BTW. i often accedently type "aisa" insread of "asia"
sick crap, we dont want these extensions, some one is looting us :S why the hell another 4 letter asia why not as ai aa or an thing smaller, i am lost with all these domain extensions, you spend on one and by the time hype is over there is another extension its damn endless.
There is going to be a .asia rush, just as there was with .mobi. It's easy to tell that ICANN is getting desperate because they are coming out with 4 letter extensions. How in the world did .mobi and .asia pass, but .xxx failed? .xxx makes the most sense out of any of the three. Every porn site could be moved over to the .xxx extension.
Anyways, I'm sure there will be the landrush of people registering useless .asia domains. In my opinion, the only ones that will be valuable are the ones that are geographically related to Asia, ie. cities, etc.
