Gemma from our UK team, asked me to announce Sedo's upcoming Domain Event on Wednesday, the 9th November, 2005 in London.
Sedo will host a day of discussion, aiming to bring domainers together to exchange opinions and experiences on the development and future of the .co.uk domain market. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the Sedo team and event sponsors, discuss partnership and integration opportunities and meet many of the UK's leading domain portfolio owners and domain-associated businesses. The following are just some of the issues we will be discussing:
-An overview of the PPC industry with a focus on the UK, including developments, general trends and the future.
-Sedo's expert brokerage and acquisitions team will give a domain valuation workshop outlining the most effective methods to evaluate your domain names.
-Sedoâs legal counsel, Jeremiah Johnston and Nominetâs company solicitor, Edward Phillips will host an IP seminar, focusing on legal and trademark issues for domain name owners in the UK and the Nominet DRS.
Amid this invaluable exchange of information, networking and domain name discussion, our guests will be served drinks and dinner on board a luxury vintage style steamer on the Thames.
