Hi. I payed $ 100 for a tipoff on AudioPlugin.com.

How much do you think is this domain name worth ?

Siteplugin.com is listed at Great Domains for $ 25,000.

Please appraise this for me?

Thank You,

Arvind

$25 to $50... perhaps $100 if you're very lucky.

The price quoted at Great Domains don't mean a thing, Arvind. I could quote Sitepluginnow.com ast GD for $300,000,000 tomorrow if I wsh.

Audioplugin.com has potential. But I'm clueless as to why you need an audioplugin given that everything is multimedia enabled today?

Hello Mole. Nice to see you back in action.

True, listings at Greatdomains.com don't mean a thing. I was at looking around at Greatdomain.com for listings in " plugin" ,found that particular listing and dropped it in along with the appraisal request.

There are a few companies making audioplugins. They should be interested !! Let's see how it rolls.

k, windy! I note you are a real go grabber of name of late.

Must be spending a lot of time on your comp to dig out the gold veins in an already buried terrain. Some pretty nice finds.

I prefer to stake my flag on virgin .info and .biz before people know what is going to hit them eventually... blah safe.

Good luck, Arvind.

actually, for computer based audio work plugins are a very big thing - especially vst plugins for cubase. These plugins cover everything from reverbs through to complete software based synthesizers that outperform their hardware equivalents (like the fm7 from native instruments for example).

Having said that, I'm not sure the singular is particularly valuable.

VST plug-ins are not only for Cubase. But I have noticed that plug-in developers prefer branding using a company name over a generic descriptor. Windy could prove me wrong and I hope he is right 'cause this is great domain name.

Also, VST plugins may be a bit esoteric so here's another thought.

Audioplugin would make a great site for a company selling or renting cables, adapters, bays, racks and snakes for music reproduction, concert and performance supplies. IF you 've ever done this, you know you are always plugging in "stuff". Not sure about the designation "plug-in's" though even though these components plug in each other. Could this site be part of your karaoke collection? plug-in to a brand new world of audio

:) "we"? aha aha aha I betcha a lot of people here have .info and .biz and .us names snuggled somewhere. I've observed that stating a contentious point of view is difficult for many. Who cares? Just the blind leading the blind, IMO.

Hi Arvind,

Looks like you are burning a lot of money on these domain names.
Why do not you try to sell some before you buy more?
That way you can see the difference between expectation and reality!

I believe its just the thrill ride. But its really cheap to buy names right now at $8 bucks a pop. Compared to 1995 when it was like $70 and you needed a nameserver, er...whats that. So the risk is very minimal today.
