Newbie not making money on your domains? You've probably not done your research! lol

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ZODIAC CAPITAL TO INITIATE A MAJOR GAMING PROJECT
Sydney NSW, January 14, 2008 -- Zodiac Capital Limited (ASX: ZOD) advises that it has
entered into an agreement to acquire a controlling interest in the dot-com Japanese
domain name for “gambling”, (“ギャンブル”, pronounced “Gyanburu”).
ギャンブル .com is an IDN (International Domain Name) Internet portal and vertical
indexing directory specializing in online, mobile (cellular phone) and traditional (brick &
mortar) gambling and related businesses offered in the Japanese language. ギャンブル
is “gambling” as written in Kana - the most commonly used term for gambling in Japan.
“Gyanburu” is the Rōmaji (anglicized) version of ギャンブル.
Under the terms of the Acquisition Agreement exchanged over the weekend, the
Company will fund the final development and commercialisation of the Gyanburu
domain as the premier Internet portal for the Japanese gambling industry. Details of
the Agreement are as follows:
• Payments totalling $150,000 to the current owner of the domain
• Two-year funding of the business plan to a total of $450,000
• Development of a stand-alone Australian corporation to commercialise the
Gyanburu domain

Haha, careful, you will find many of those squiggly non english character things (thousands of them) under anonymous proxy whois. Why hide your identity if they are worthless?

Do you see LLLL.com or even LLL.com with proxy whois?:lol::lol:

The quip that just about every other company in the world made a loss for the year ended 30 June 2008 is just not true.
Yes, 9 months ago, this small company did make an investment to commercialize an IDN
Not sure why news of 9 months ago has now been posted together with the false information that the company is listed on the ASX
Unless it is yet another attempt o boost prospects of IDN

And the next quarters ? Anyway - irrelevant. You really seem to jump on anything but the topic of the thread.

The "news" was just posted because the community has just been made aware of this very significant sale which you appear to be aware of and still consider it to be a promotion of IDN- BTW they are also domain names- and need very little promotion nowadays.

The "false" information - from here: http://www.nsxa.com.au/ftp/news/021719735.PDF

End user IDN sales in the high $xxxx to low $xx,xxx region are common, not even worth mentioning, but a $xxx, xxx buy by a public company is always interesting.

Right now, what are you gona do? Pay $xxx, xxx or $xx,xxx for a LL or LLL.com, or buy a bunch of LLLL.com only to dump them next year? I've started dumping my ASCIIs since 2006, yet i can't avoid losing some money, can't imagine those who kept buying, especially those moby domains.

Boost prospects??

You need to check out the public document which is the "ICANN 2009 budget" and just go throught line items for IDN expenditures. As we hear too often "follow the money". Once you add in all the budgets for the various international registraries, combined with ICANN support over full rollouts of IDNs (idn.idn to join idn.com, idn.net, idn.cn, idn.jp etc) the total expenditures will easily exceed 100 million dollars.

This project has been 10 years in the making, and full implementation of idn.idn will begin sometime in 2009. Still plenty of good opportunities to acquire names at great prices on the various IDN forums. Many think of IDN at this stage being a parallel to "ASCII" names back in 1997-1998. Many expect that history will again repeat itself again, only this time around instead of latin domain names it will be with "international domain names". Many strong sales over the last year at x,xxx, xx,xxx and xxx,xxx to bear out this trend.

Who gives a monkey's? I have all mine parked.

My best three days for total number of clicks is the last three days. Come to think of it, it pretty much nearly always the last three days. That is the kind of pattern you notice after a while when you are experiencing exponential growth.

I didn't know high priced IDNs had an ADDITIONAL requirement of having to be a developed site.... I guess these are a sour investment compared to LLN's ;-)

I can see what your offers look like:

$10

$7

$5.50

$12

etc

This is like expecting sex.com to be developed.......in 1993!!! The browsers are not even ready yet!:lol::lol:

Better than that, the new trick is:

$1.90 each
Bulk sell only
All 50 for $95

I suppose these are how domains with prospects are worth.

Or how about a few dot mobis and eus?

Looking back, thank god they came out with those in 2006, keeping the big boys and dictionary scripters busy, otherwise we would not have gotten so many of the gems!:lol:
