Automatically excluded forums when searching?

I just noticed whe doing a search some forums are excluded from my search. the only one I ever excluded may have been adult years ago but certainly not the others. How can this be corrected, or is it a bug perhaps? I imagine that is why my searches often do not have the results I was expecting.

Anyone else see this?
