im pretty new in the domain business, I decided to conduct an experiment of my own since getting advise on domains varies drastically from user to user. I have found some two word domains which are free and can be registered by you guys right now. The purpose of this you ask? Just to see if i am understanding the info i have been reading in various forums and of course to see that im on the right track.

This is a tiny list of current available domains, some i have found have been estimated by esibot in the low $xx,xxx/ $x,xxx and are not on this list :) Some input from the gurus would also be appreciated on any of the domains below

personally i dont think they are great but i dont think they suck like some of the domains i have seen getting sold on this site.

p.s. I am not selling these domains, they are available and can be registered by anyone.

Hi

we are not in the business of appraising "unregistered/available to register" domain names here, so please keep that in mind.

the names may look okay, but the point is either to buy to resell or buy to develop

one can buy/reg any domain name, which can look or sound like crap and develop into a viable website.

one can buy/reg a domain in the hopes of reselling and either be successful or get stuck with renewal fees.

the fact that you stick bot appraisal there will only give incentive for the unknowing, to waste money.

imo...

sure i wasn’t looking for appraisals, i was looking for a more general opinions. Since i am a developer i guess i would lean more the buy/develop method, although the buy/sell option seems more appealing and for obvious reasons. Thanks for your input

I also belive the exact figure is not correct, but i think it gives you a plus/minus view when comparing domains.

Yes estibot is not always right .

within the first hour these domains where bought

Interesting list.

A few I checked were registered in the past and expired this year.

Biggedon's points are valid.

I sure hope the person that registered the 12 domains at least said "thank you".

No, I didn't register any. But, many are worth the reg' fee.

Yes estibot is not always right .

do we have an example of a sale where Estibot was right?
and where is that list?..

just wanted to add I found that list.
seems Estibot has name values all over the place compared to the actual sale price.
Here

a few hundred off a x,xxx sale is within reason, but off by xx,xxx or even xxx,xxx is not.

now i see what you mean, apprsaisal is totally off the mark with the actual sale. i guess a domain has too many parameters to be able to get it appraised by script.
