As some of you may already know as of October last year MS released the Azure Cloud Computing Services. I just wondering if anyone could tell me roughly how much do you think azurecloud.com would be worth. I was the previous owner of azurecloud.com and sold it for a good price to a company called Ten Penny, they made me an offer and I ask for double that price and 2 weeks later they came back and offered me close to double the originally price. I sat on it for about 1 months, so I did did some research on Azure Cloud though Google and nothing really come up so I thought it must have been a new company who are wanting the name Azure Cloud.
This domain name was a sitting duck I had done nothing with it, it had no revenue or anything like that. So I do another search though Google about 2 weeks later on the 30th of October last year and wow Microsoft Azure Cloud is all over Google. I thought it may have just been a coincidence or just some small development company wanting to provide some support online though a forum about azure cloud computing. I was just finishing up my degree and had no job or car and I needed something to live off, so I sold the domain for $10,000 dollars to Ten Penny. I actually found it hard to sell, I didn't really want to sell it, but I needed money.
Now as of the 15th of Jan 2009 the domain AZURECLOUD.COM is now registered to Micro$oft Corp
. Shit I should have kept it, but shit happens and it only cost me $10.
So if you guys have any ideas on how much you think it may be worth. Just a rough estimate for kicks lol:smilewinkgrin:.
