I suppose everybody is mute from admiration for BabelBank.com ?

If so (or if not), please give your true opinion...

Such name can (between others) be used for Banking or for Languages, or any multicultural activity ...

I promise to say you something strangely interesting about this name after few days.

Thanks in advance,

Frenchie

Frenchie - I do not see a lot of value in this name without a lot of development and branding. There is aleady a site called babelfish that translates words and phrases into languages.. However that site I am sure took a lot of devleopment.

Just my opinion. Hope you find a good use for it.

Babelbank, as a brand name, makes good use of sound. Babel + Bank sounds nice when you say it.

However, I don't think that many banks would like to be associated with "Babel". "Babel" means random, meaningless chatter. When people go to a bank, they want to get clarity, not confusion.

In a way I agree with you. Because in the Bible, the Babel Tower came to confusion.

Meanwhile, Babel tower was constructed by Noe to reach the sky. But the confiusion was not caused by the builders, but by a susceptible God, who confused the people, by creating uncommunication through different languages.

In a way, Babel can be seen, like Promethee mythe, as a noble human trial to escape his condition, and in fact this God was whom created the confusion (which is completely different) !!!!!!

This story was originally Babylonian.
