My ISP just informed me that they have received the following email which I never send out. Someone is imitating me and try to trick my ISP to set up email forwarding. If this is done, people will be able to steal my domains by transferring them out. Beware!!

Thank god your ISP is on the ball with that - it could have been a mess for you if they weren't (and a mess for them!).

Normally they go after people who use free email services (Gmail, Yahoo, etc..) but this is the first that I've seen where they go after an ISP email.

Another reason to have a domain to use for registrar contact.

Because chances are English isn't their primary language?

This is the same guy that stole all those premium names. The thread that was going around the last few weeks... The same guy that made the website selling the stolen names.

these thieves are trying basically all kind of ways so the best suggestion would be to keep checking your premium domains periodically

I use my own domain names for E-mail. I don't want to depend on gmail or my ISP.
