Hey,
Just wondering if anybody can recommend a good domain monitoring tool. I'm interested in keeping track of expiration dates of a list of domains, and have it updated as domains are renewed. These are the two tools I've found:

DomainTools charges 9.99/month to monitor 1000 domains.

GoDaddy is cheaper at 5.99/yr per 100 domains.

But both of these are very expensive to monitor, say, 10,000 domains.

Can you suggest any other tools (or perhaps a script)? Thanks.

What do you mean by Monitor?

If you just mean follwoing and getting in when they are close to expity, I would reccomend buying domainpunch.com software.

It can manage over 500k names easily and has a feature to see soon to expire or expired names in your list.

WatchMyDomains Pro (related product to domainpunch) is excellent. No limits and one-time only fee with no yearly cost.

Hi Nathan,

If you want to keep track of your own domains (expiry, DNS) etc.. then Domainer Income does that. It also monitors all the marketplaces and gives you expired domains (that are available for you to register). It's a very high-end service for professional domainers (its not cheap either), but it does a lot more than what you describe above. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the suggestions. Given the price range, I'm considering a custom implementation as it would allow for the most flexibility.
