I use domainsbot and I'm pretty pleased all together.
Only drawback is they only support com,net,org

I agree that the one link sent us to the list of excellent sites.

Incidently, I visit those sites often. Except, WebHosting.info
That was a new one to me. And, I like how they had the summary page of
registered domains.

But, the original question was where to get the best drop lists.

We also use domainsbot and we have been happy with it so far.

Tried Domainsbot back in 2000 and they were good. Not sure about it anymore with the big players snapping left and right.

Yep, best but I didn't realize how much coding it is just to get the names compared, and then everything else done. Took me a year but almost done :)

I just started writing code to compile my own list also. Took about a day to get it working for .biz, still waiting for access to the rest.
