Best forum software that prevents spam registrations?

What's the best forum software (free or paid) that is good in weeding out spammers?

I used to manage a medium-sized forum, but I had to ditched it. The spam registrations was too much for a single person to deal with.

I may do a forum again in the future if I'll find the best forum script.

We are running it. Xenforo took the leaders cap from vbulletin long ago.

You still need moderators though. All the automation in the world wont weed them all out.
