Hello All,

There is a domain name that I want and it's exipring in a few months. What is the best place to try to get it when it expires? I thought about using GoDaddy's backorder service, but after reading some posts, I see that might not be the best option.

Thanks

If it's a few months away you may want to contact owner directly assuming the whois data is available. If it's a top name it will get bid up pretty high. If you decide you don't want it feel free to let us know ;-)

It expires at the beginning of december and its not a premium domain. It is a generic name, though. I just want to get it for development purposes.

E-Promote, are you saying that I should use all four services, or that those are the best ones?

Thanks again guys..

If it's a godaddy name, then a godaddy order has a chance and is very cheap if you go thru a wildwest reseller. If you want to cover all your bases and are willing to spend $60 or more then you should use pool, snap and enom (won't be charged unless they get the name).
