Best task/to do/calendar program?

Im basically looking for a good program with the following features:

- basic calendar function
- should be able to automatically notice me (would be nice via email)

What do you guys use a time management?

Thanks guys. I looked into Google calendar and I love it. Simple, fast and all the features I need. Especially the SMS and email notifications are cool.
