This company has been posting one of my domains for sale as auction on their website without my consent. They switched their name from dotbidz to namecoin recently and were even offering to pay domainers $10.00 to post domains on their website.

I sent them an email telling them they were posting my domains illegaly on their site and to remove them asap. This was 2 weeks ago and this morning I got an email back saying I owe them $50.06 for "Clearing" my account in which I never signed up for.

Needless to say I wrote them back with a few choice words.

What they did is offer domainers $100.00 in credit and they themselves, would continue to post your domain name day after day until you reach your credit limit without your being aware your being charged every single time.

This is a total scam and I will report it to the BBB and ICANN.

If it was without your consent, why not just ignore it/them?

Why? Because they are trying to get money off of me because they listed my domain name without my consent day after day for a fee of $8.36 a day. LOL, why in the world would anyone want to pay a single pennys to list a domain name for sale for a 24 hour period when we all list for free on forums like DN, ********, godaddy, sedo etc etc? Heres my invoice from namecoins website. Keep in mind I have never logged in to namecoin.com. With my permission dotbidz.com were allowed to list my domain for a week free of charge to both parties. They took it upon themselves to transfer all my information into the new namecoin and relist my domain name day after day without my permission number one, and also without telling me they were also charging me for something I never signed up for on namecoin.

HAHAAH...what a scam. I bet you didnt read the fine print when u signed up for dotbidz. You say you didnt sign in to NameCoin but did sign in when it was called DotBidz? Same thing but different name. I guess you had to tell them in writing you wanted your domain removed from the list or they would start charging you.

Dont sweat it....sounds like they are a bunch of scammers trying to scare some people into coughing up some cash. Just be professional when you send them emails. Dont use profanity and explain that you were wrongfully charged and keep a copy on file.

By responding with foul language, you are now on their level.

Yes, and they'll beat you with experience.

Anyway, what I meant with my question was that I was under the impression you had never dealt or been associated with either them or any of their partners and were just receiving random invoices

Apparently I'm not the only one with this issue as I post around on different forums.
