I hate to post here, but can not contact Bido's Customer Service By any other way I tried.

I won a Domain through Bido Auction on Aug 31st then paid same day, DON'T get my domain till today and DON'T get any reply from Bido

I am quite new to Bido actually. After learn the Bido market several days, I decide to give it a try, want to buy and sell some domains there.

On Aug 31st, I am luckly to win two domains on Bido Auction. It is my 1st buy there.

The 1st name is a LLL.net name, I received a mail from Bido to ask me my Enom account ID after payment send, then I got the domain in my Enom account in 24 hours. Happy

The 2nd name is a CCC.com name by another seller reg. with Moniker. Same I got a mail from Bido to ask me my Moniker account ID and Auth code in the same day. I replied with my accoun details and wait.

Now 8 days past but I don't get my domain, neither any news from bido and the seller.
The TOS is written that seller should push domain in 10 days so still have 2 days to wait. BUT what bad is that Bido doesn't give me any reply to update what happened. And we know that push a domain from one Moniker account to another just need seconds...

Then I tried to contact Bido to ask why the Seller doesn't push domain, and I want to know my payment is still in Bido's Escrow account, or they have released to the seller.

1st I submitted a ticket through Bido's online support system. It says I will get an answer in 24 hours but actually I don't hear anything from Bido after 72 hours (I submitted the ticket on last Firday) . And there has no way for me to track my ticket in my account!

Then I send a mail to Bido support by reply the mail I got to ask my Moniker account infomation. I hope somebody from Bid can give me help but still NOTHING happened.

I want to call Bido, but there only have a toll free number on support page which can not be called since I am not in US/CA.

It is my 1st experience for make deal through Bido. It is too fast to make any conclusion but definity my 1st feeling is bad.

Today, my names will also go alive auction on Bido, what kind of experience I will have for my 1st sell there? Don't know, but hope it is better.

Dear Bido, plz let me know what is the status for my won domain (My Bidder ID is "LoveDomains" ): When will the seller push it? My paid money is still with Bido or not? ...

BTW, I have received the LLL.net domain I won. Times I want to send mail to inform you this so can release payment to seller. But I didn't do this because of I HOPE there will have a Bido guy would come ask me " Hi, Did you get your won domain...?".. But looks none of Bido reps care this after 8 days of domain pushed...

Looking to hear from somebody from Bido soon

It's US holiday today (Labor Day); I'm sure they'll respond tomorrow.

Cheers,

Thanks!

I don't aware that today is holiday in US.

Hope to get reply from Bido and receive my domain soon :shy:

Bido does not push the domain to the winner, the seller does. So we are the intermediary, and we do work with both the buyer and seller to have the transaction finalized in a timely manner. If we followed with everyone daily to say "keep waiting, keep waiting" that is inefficient. We focus the effort where results will happen.
Our offices were closed over the weekend and also for the national holiday. In addition, this may also be part of the reason why your seller didn't yet push the domain to you.
Please await your ticket to be responded to in the order it was received.
In addition, please be aware that we have changes coming to our interface, so soon buyers and sellers will communicate directly over the Bido website, instead of the current format that's with support over the ticketing system. So this will also improve similar situations like this where you are unaware of the status, it will be displayed in your account for each transaction.
You did two transactions according to your post, one was fast, one was slower. We do our best to make them all fast as you know, but if it isn't as fast as you would like, please be patient.
In regards to your concern if the seller was paid already - Bido does not release payment to the seller till the winner has the domain, so you are aware, if that was not yet clear in the communications we had with you.
Hope the info helps and please PM me if you need anything else.

Dear MediaHound,
Thanks for your explantation and I DO appreciate you make what I worried be clarified.

Glad to know that Bido will NOT release payment to Seller untill get confirmation from Buyer.

I will for more days for my delayed domain, will PM you later if still don't get it when 10 work days after auction closed.

I have one domain in live auction today, and have few more coming in next few days. Hope I can sell 5 or 6 domains through Bido every month.

And I am also buying besides selling. Hopeful to win one more domain today.

Eager to see the new interface be online.

Thanks!

Julian

In an ideal world, transactions happen "bazaar" style: you hand over the moolah and you get your persian rug on the spot :D The Bido guys are a team of the most positive-minded domain entrepreneurs in the industry today. While some things might need ironing, remember: you're not transacting in a bazaar per my example above :D
