Big ccTLD Sale Heads New DN Journal Weekly Top 20

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. A bit less data than usual came in as some of our corporate sources were away for the holidays and many buyers were also taking a seasonal break, but it was still a respectable showing with one real blockbuster at the top of the chart. That was an Austrian ccTLD that, at more than $590,000, was the highest .at sale ever reported. It is also the second highest country code sale of 2007. That was one of five ccTLDs on our new Top 20 (including the top two sales) but .com won the overall numbers game with 14 chart entries. .Net finally ended .mobi's hot streak on the Global Contenders chart by sweeping the top six positions and 11 of the first 12 on the GC Top 20.
