Big Sales Pile Up As Live Auction Purchases Are Completed

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. When sales slowed down briefly after Labor Day last month, I mentioned things would soon be heating back up as sales from live auctions at the Domain Roundtable and T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East conferences were completed and reported. A huge wave of auction sales hit the beach this week and to make room for all of them we had to triple the size of our Top 20 chart to 60 positions - making it the biggest weekly all-extension chart we have ever run. A quartet of half-million dollar names crown the top sellers list.

The Big Board also includes the highest .org sale so far in 2007 - a name that went for $99,000. Four .mobis, three .nets and a .info also made the chart, as did four country code domains, but .com racked up 47 of the 60 entries overall. You can get all of the details here:

Also new since we wrote you last week is a T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East 2007 Photo Gallery that we completed over the weekend.
