I guess the loot has just changed hands. This was on dnjournal just a couple of weeks ago. Looks like four letter dictionary .com's now cost $500K. Good!

I wouldnt go that far...I dont think lack.com or rack.com would sell for 500k lol

I sold FuelcellBike.com for $3500 and FuelcellBikes.com for $7500 couple of months ago. Both of these may be worth 500 grand in a few years.

The plural version usually goes for more...I guess Bikes.com is worth a million.

I don't think so. Great sale.

I dont think fuelcellbikes.com will ever be worth half a mil...

Well i wont say never.. maybe in like 2095 and if all the other domains have been deleted hehe

But really.. i think you got a good price for them.

As for bike.com, 500K is a decent price for it.. i bet the seller is happy.

Doesn't get on DNJournal until the loot has changed hands.

Of course half a mil is an exaggeration, 30 to 50k is a more realistic figure in the not-to-distant future... imho

Very good sale - I bet it gets some serious traffic to it.

Agreed - the return on this domain could be amazing.

Yes, but when you could pick up the equivalent terms in Chinese, Japanese and Russian for less than $10K each, the ROI on this is not going to seem spectacular in relative terms. Japanese equivalent would be particularly interesting I think.

is it not better bikes.com rather than bike.com? ( only based on the name)

well....I am not a native English speaker but to me it makes more sense the plural like for cars better than car
cars.com or car.com ?

Checking Overture and GG results it seems the singolar (BIKE) has much more results.
I`m quite confused since I have told plural version is better like

commodities is better than commodity
