I never expected large companies to be among the "early adopters" of new TLDs, other than as protective registrations. Why should they, when they probably already have good names in the existing TLDs? It's more likely to be "little guys" who start using new names and maybe eventually make them popular enough that the big players start using them.

I still believe that .BIZ is most suited for b2b sites. Don't expect the b2c giants to adopt .BIZ anytime soon.

I've never seen anything on the official .biz registry site, or from ICANN, or any other official source, saying that .biz was intended specifically for B2B applications as opposed to B2C or any other type of business.
