yes, but these are decent key worded hyphenated domains...I don't think the entire hyphenated area is going up? Maybe I am wrong, but it's just the plain fact that the non-hyphenateds are all gone, thus making "-" popular...only the good ones though!

The good hyphenated names are all gone since 199x.

black-jack.com has been auctioned a couple of months ago on SEDO and it seems the winner didn't pay. Let's see what happens now.

I think because their was 2 bidders fighting at the end it will sell , also i think your right saying The good hyphenated names are all gone since 199x. Thats for the really top ones .

I think the hyphenated domains that make sense and have search volume have gained momentum. But it needs to be two keywords separated by one hyphen.

Domains such as

Home-Loans.com
Car-Insurance.com
New-York.com

Has to be two good keywords, and even country code domains with hyphens are selling (like .de and .co.uk). If you are using the url for print advertising, business cards, and SEO then it makes sense, though doesn't pass the radio test. I heard a website with a hyphen advertised on the radio and it was awkward to explain.
