Blackberry Storm vs iPhone

Does anyone "have" the new Blackberry storm?
I played with it the other day.
People have told me there is a learning curve to it.

A number of domainers have been telling me they are very delighted with the iPhone.

Most of the tech sites rate the iphone higher than the storm.

What has been your experience?

1) Storm isn't new. It's been out for a while, and is already "yesterday's" toy in terms of phones
2) It's actually not that great. The GUI is a RAM hog, making the over all interface slow. Also, it's about as functional as the iPhone before you installed anything. Fine if you just want a phone that can play some movies and read maps, but if you want any real functionality, the variety of software just isn't there.
3) Wait for the Palm Pre, it's basically the iPhone, but with a slide out keyboard, and a slight curvature to the form factor so it sits on your thigh (in your pocket) or on your face better.

agree with Harvey...waiting on the Pre also...luckily time going by so fast will actually help for a change.

Some geek guru from the CES was on talking about new gadgets and brought this on.

He ended up letting the drummer of the band keep it.

Not even on the market yet.

Could be one to give those you are thinking about a run for their money.

Will run on the Sprint network which I absolutely love. Hands down the best and clearest voice in this area and region.
