Recently most of my sites have been under some sort of hack or hijacking attempt (luckily none have gone though yet). What's odd is that they attack one of my sites, then move onto the next (all from the same IP address).
When I come across these I just block the IP address in the .htaccess file but it's a real pain updating 20-30 .htaccess files (and since I use different CMS etc. I can't just make one and upload it to all the sites.
Is there an easier way to block these on all my sites? Can I add a file to the root directory (well, public_html/ (the folder that all the sites are stored in)?
