I got my _blog.com name about a year and half ago for around $3.5k, at the time I was cursing and swearing at the guy who ran me up at Pool thinking it was way tooo expensive. Beat him by $100 on a 2 bid maximum attempt proxy trick which you could do at Pool at the time. Ah, didn't think blogs would explode like this...
