Blogs impact on domain market

Does anyone have an idea of how many bloggers have been buying domain names?

If there are eight million bloggers in the last couple of years, how much have
they contributed to a resurgence in the price of domains?

What does it hold for the future for domain name prices?

That may be true, but some of the top bloggers are getting three grand a day in advertising. Further, many corporations are putting together blogs for marketing purposes.

Good question, gogeorge!

I think that blog domain names have a small impact. I am holding gatesblog.com, and I would guess that about 40-50% of the new "blog" names are being registered by speculators. Just a guess.

I think they have a very small impact. Its just too easy for individuals to use blogging services instead of hosting their own domains for a blog.
