Hi guys, just wanted to apologize this for not addressing this sooner on DNF.
Yes, I closed BQB down. I've been having a lot of problems with the site ever since a botched / incompetent server admin moved the site over in October. The site did pretty well over selling a number of domains for $XXXX in the Summer, however I just wasn't able to make it work when this recession came at us full tilt and the server move just made it worse, with about only 800 domains listed at close, about 600 of them being my own :disappointed:
I believe there were only about $100 or so in sales over the past couple months (compare at about $40000 over the Summer). I'm glad I gave it a try and appreciate all the support members of this community gave to the project, however it's just not feasible with those kind of numbers. Domaining.com has a few other free marketplaces if memory serves me correctly -- hopefully someone can make the concept fly.
It gets quite a large amount of SE traffic thanks to ranking well for some competitive domaining related terms and I thought the domaining community would be better served with a site which could at least be of use to some of the people who were finding it via search engine, whereas BQB hadn't really been doing much of anything the past couple months.
