A team and myself are working to validate an idea we have. The website will be at Brandvine(.)com. We plan to showcase great new startups according to users specifications.

So you go to this site and you see what we call the Brandvine, featuring all the hottest new brands and startups. You can customize this vine to your liking, share your vine with your friends on Brandvine and help the best companies climb the vine by "climbing" them and leaving comments and feedback on the profile they host on the Brandvine. Older startups fall off the vine and only the best products and services (decided by you) rise to the top.

I haven't ever came across a website like this. It is a great opportunity for any mom and pop shop to internet merchant or broker to climb the vine until they have a steady flow of traffic to their website. It kinda reminds me of the old days of top 100 sites, but with a unique twist to it. It will allow startups to provide a press release about their company and get a jump start to possibly go viral on the social media front. You're providing a great service (when it's activated) and many will benefit from it if they ever come across it. I hope nobody jumps on the bandwagon before it's up and running for you.
