Cameroon can barely keep it's government intact.
I don't trust buying domains from such unstable environments. I was like the rest of us, intrigued at the prospect of owning a .cm domain with tons of hits but I have since changed my tune.
So say you want to get your money back, try to change your DNS, or any have other issues whom will you contact? There is no one, no central place, no one free from taking up their own personal cause. On top of all that Cameroon is known to support and take a passive role in combating slavery or as we like to call it modern times, human trafficking.
Does anyone really want to give them their money with no guarantees and then to know perhaps your money is used by a immoral government? That of course is only guess that the majority of us would consider human trafficking reprehensible. The only reason Ham has no worries is because he pays them allot of money, how much I have no clue but I am sure they make a bundle and with that I am sure they will always take care of his interests because it supports their needs. One or two domain owners, I wish you luck.
Your choice and please share your experiences, I personally have never heard a good domain story from Cameroon, excluding of course Kevin's.
