Incredible story! The man has a seizure and the dog was trained to pick up the phone thus dialing 911 (pre-programmed). (Yes, this is possible, it's even possible to teach the dog to actually dial 911 on some phones).
I also have to say that my hat is off to the 911-operator who took the call and handled it the way calls like this should be handled. I'd hate to say it but I think many, if not the majority, of 911 operators would have hung up and not done anything.
