But in what times are we living ? Please, tell me this's only a bad dream ! ;-(
No way to stop once for all these bastard providers ?

I like how all these damn messages usually end:

"Receiving this email because you registered to receive special offers from us"

I hate spam, never asked for such infos , of course.

Let me recommend something to you all:

Register a name, any name will do but one that you will hold onto for a while. Attach the word "abuse" in front of it so that you get [email protected] and list that as the contact in all of your whois records.

It's best to do with a registrar that gives you free email forwarding (like godaddy or enom). This is a very cheap spam control as spammers absolutely love the whois database.

I can't say it will reduce spam in your current email accounts but virtually no spammer will ever email an "abuse" email address. Those searching the whois probably will without thinking about it too much. Most mail harvesters automatically remove "abuse" addresses from their lists and it shines as a warning that spam will not be tolerated.

I've done this with my email several months ago and haven't received a single piece of spam on that account yet. :eek:k:

I forgot to specify some other important details: apart spam, I was asking why the law allows these providers to offer web hosting and anonimity to spammers, they should be the first to be stopped once for all !
