Hello Everyone,

I thought I would share my experience with some wise*** that replied to a solicited e-mail regarding a "city + Business" .com name. I haven't received a response like this in a very long time, so I thought I would share his brilliant response.

Someone is either smoking way too much or has had way too much Kool-Aid.

His response is below:

"Listen to the voice of experience:
The URL of a website means NOTHING - I could have blobby.com and come first in the search for xxxx xx:
Your URL comes NOWHERE in the searches for xxxx xx

Your URL is worth according to DNSCOOP is worth an incredible $0

Whereas ours is worth $19,000

Exactly! The loser pays goog for advertisement because his site doesn't rank high, but doesn't want to pay any attention to a name that is exactly what he does in a city where he lives in!

I told him that he can continue to pay goog on a monthly basis and I will go ahead and sell this name to one of his 1,000 competitors, who will take all his business away.

This is a very generic city + business two word .com.
