DNF can do whatever they want on their site to make money.

And, we are all on the forum to help each other make money.

I am not sure how long the BuyDomain banner has been there. I assume not long - one or two days. But, Its like drinking a Pepsi in Coke's corporate office. It just rubs me the wrong way.

BD is not a member here - that I know of. So, the only reason DCG has the banner up is to get referral income. Which I understand and agree with.

And, I am not asking DCG to take it down. But, to be sensitive to your customers feelings.

Huh? It's a banner for a domain site. Can you explain?

I think its pretty tacky as well putting up the affliate banner as well. I think when you start charging for memberships you need to be sensitive to these things.

Ok, I am over the shock of seeing the BuyDomain banner.

I contacted BuyDomains today about putting my banner on their site. They were agreeable to it. Do you think I got a good deal. One banner is going to cost me $ 500. a month. They promised a certain number of traffic or the banner is free for that month.

If you are interested in getting the same deal please contact me.
I'm kidding. I didn't contact BuyDomains. Even though, they are only a couple miles up the road from me.

I congratulate them on getting distribution of their banner. But, I wish they would spend more time on getting banner distribution. And, less time on bidding on domains.

I must admit that BD has some pretty awesome names. But with pretty awesome prices to boot.

Ever heard of "If you can't beat them, join them" ?

For real - if BD was located in my area i can guarantee you i would find a way to join them or build a business relationship with them or to make use of them in one way or the other.

I mean, have you ever visited them and offered your domain knowledge or whatever else might be useful for them?

Like, if i'd live in their area i would really try to get hired by them and if it was only for making coffee or whatever - just to get into the heart of where it's all happening. What you possibly could learn there might be priceless.
