Wanted: Service Cafre Press Help

I want to develop my tshirt domain name and I was lookint at cafepress.com. The problem is, you have to upload your own designs. I see hundreds of websites have all these unique designs. Does that mean they hired someone to make them the graphic/design in 300 dpi format? It would seem to expensive to me to hire someone to make a design to put on a shirt unless you are guaranteed to sell several hundred of them. Any comments on this are more then welcome.

Basically an investment.. Or you can make the t-shirts your self. Not too long ago I had a store on Cafepress, made the designs my self and only sold about 30 shirts.

Or just sign up for a tshirt affiliate program and build your site around that.
