How much time will be, more likely from now to the day of the drop, if a domain changed to redemption period yesterday ?
I think it is like 30 days in redemption period, plus a week in pending delete.
Is this correct ? (Domain is in tucows)

i think RED is set by verisign by agreenment with icann to be a minimum 30 days.

also, some names never seem to get deleted. there used to be thousands of great names that netsol was just holdong on to. very mysterious. then i realized that a couple of names i had been using as namesrvers and later let go were still undeleted after a couple of years (they still had active names pointing to them too). so maybe that explained it.
