ya, i have phpbb on my cpanel and i tried to install.but it failedJOEMART said:Hi Jaik
This may or may not help you
I used to ask for help to instal stuff until someone pointed out to me that in my cpanel there was a thing named Fantastico
Have you got fantastico in your cpanel?
Of course the experts will advise that Fantastico will not always instal the latest version of a script
I don't care because at least I can instal stuff myself now
Your host should be able to help. Installing phpBB via Fantastico is usually painless.jaik said:ya, i have phpbb on my cpanel and i tried to install.but it failed
Yup, I just did it on one of my domains, and saw it installed 2.017 and I just had to update it to 2.018 which is latest and that took less then 5 minutes.nameslave said:Your host should be able to help. Installing phpBB via Fantastico is usually painless.
Your host must be using an older version of Fantastico: 2.10.2 r2 (released Nov 10) has already been updated with phpBB 2.0.18. And the newest version is actually 2.10.2 r3 (released Nov 30).cwsteam.com said:Yup, I just did it on one of my domains, and saw it installed 2.017 and I just had to update it to 2.018 which is latest and that took less then 5 minutes.
