I own a name that is pretty recognizable thanks to TripAdvisor and HomeAdvisor. Is there a way to lease it to someone who can put an idea behind the name?

Yes, you may offer it for sale along with a lease to own/payment plan option. If you don't have a plan of your own via a landing page or site try with a 3rd party marketplace like Dan.com.
Leasing the name to someone who has an idea behind the name is probably the same thing as selling it to the actual buyer as they would be the person paying you anyways.
