I want to do a good deed, but am I being paranoid?
I typed in the word "radio" within the last year at buydomains and this name, visualradio.com caught my eye.
It was a local NYC ISP/web design outfit on (I believe) 19th street.
Well, since then I believe BD sold it, because, unlike this archive.org link,
http://web.archive.org/web/20020806164217/www.visualradio.com
It now goes to a legit site.
(Creation Date: 29-jul-2002 ???)
By chance, I looked up a name and low and behold, visualradio was listed as the contact email.
THE PROBLEM: A major company (hotels,, entertainment, etc.) registered the domain name with them and the email contacts - of this ICON - have not been updated. It was registered in 1996, and does not expire until 2006.
Sure, it's possible neither company is aware of this.
But the name can change hands, if not corrected and I want to connect the dots.
Can someone find out old whois for visualradio and PM me?
Will then be able to post in legal, THE name to keep an eye on.
TIA
